The importance of using this type of facility is that it helps to create awareness concerning the strategic factors that are necessary when carrying out an investigation in the police force. It also helps in enlightening the forensic science providers, government and the higher education personnel thus giving them the necessary insight to fight crime (Kanellis, 2006:20).
